Psalm 139:1-6 (NLT)

1 O LORD, you have examined my heart

      and know everything about me.

2 You know when I sit down or stand up.

You know my thoughts even when I’m far away.

3 You see me when I travel

and when I rest at home.

      You know everything I do.

4 You know what I am going to say

even before I say it, LORD.

5 You go before me and follow me.

You place your hand of blessing on my head.

6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,

too great for me to understand!

We all go through things: trials, tribulations, difficult times. And every now and then we just have to tell someone what we’re feeling. Not because we can’t contain our thoughts & feelings, but because when everything is said & done… it’s nice to know you’re not alone in feeling the things you do. And it’s comforting to know that in all your confusion, someone understands and can relate to you. Now for many of you this person can be your parents, befriends, your youth, youth leaders, a brother or a sister, maybe even a pet. But how wonderful is it to have a God who fully understands you, can relate, and is someone you don’t even need to explain yourself to. When i read these couple of verses, i felt nothing but comfort, peace, and love. Something i hope you too are feeling.
